Death wobble on a Super Duty?

Ford published bulletins and a damper program for some trucks. But track bars, worn ends, caster and tire pressure are causes too. Here is what to check, in order.

Three rules for lifting a Super Duty

1. Fix the caster

Taller lifts need geometry correction, not just height.

2. Ratings don't grow

A lift doesn't raise tow or payload ratings. Level the trailer with a drop hitch.

3. Load-rated tires

Bigger tires must still carry the truck. Recalibrate the speedometer.
