What changed
MotorTrend and Ford's On Target bulletin (via I-CAR) describe a 2017 redesign with an aluminum-alloy body, a fully boxed high-strength steel frame, and up to 350 pounds less weight. The 2020 model year added the Tremor package.
Steering bulletins
Ford issued a TSB and a later special service message for steering oscillation on 2017-and-later 4WD trucks. It also ran Customer Satisfaction Program 20N04, which replaced the steering linkage damper on certain 2017-2019 trucks. Details on steering and death wobble.
